Description by Steve Moe Design

The home comes equipped with 3 bedrooms and 2.75 baths plus an extra flex/office and a bonus/media room. It’s modern styling makes use of environmentally friendly finishes like recycled wood and glass, low VOC paints and finishes. Radiant heated concrete floors can be found throughout the downstairs with wool carpet and cork floors up. The enormous focal window promotes solar gain in the winter and illuminates the home throughout the year. The main room flows out on to the slate deck, connecting the indoor and outdoor spaces. The expansive deck offers spectacular views of Mt. Rainier.

The home was designed and constructed in 2007 and is currently awaiting Built Green certification from the Master Builder’s Association. To obtain this status the home was built to the program’s standards and includes such eco-friendly components as fir trim that was logged from the site, salvaged wood counters in the kitchen and bathroom counters made of concrete and recycled wine bottles.
